Have you been working on the Weekly Challenge to ELIMINATE DISTRACTIONS? Here are a few helpful tips:

TIP #16- PUT YOURSELF IN A POSITION TO SUCCEED: Prepare everything that you will need to work on your project.  Go to where the project will be done. Once you are prepared to meet your challenge there is nothing left but for you to start and to not put it off any longer.  (You can do it!!)

TIP #17 – TURN OFF THE TELEVISION:  On the day that you will work on your project, don’t turn the TV on (unless it is during one of your allowable break segments. If you do turn on the TV at those pre-appointed allowable times, make sure you do not go past the allowed time limit.  Remember, shows, and the completion of shows can be recorded.).

TIP #18- GOOD-BYE COMPUTER, GOOD-BYE FACEBOOK: Stay away from the Internet on days that you will dedicate toward your goal, except during allowed break periods. The Internet can suck you in like a black hole.

TIP #19- PHONES OFF: Don’t answer the telephone during your work periods, unless an emergency of sorts arises.  Phone calls can be returned at your convenience, during your breaks.

TIP #20- CLEAR CLUTTER: Clean your desk and organize your drawers. Spending time on cleaning will help in the long run and save time when you need to find things in a pinch.
