Here are a few ways to save BEFORE you head to the grocery store:

TIP #9 - FLYER IT UP:
Plan your meals by what’s on sale. Look at the local supermarket flyers in the beginning of the week. See what’s on sale. Plan your purchases and meals based upon the sale items. Too often we decide on what we have a craving for and go out and purchase impulsively. Get into the habit of “sale purchasing”.

TIP #10 - DON’T BE LAZY: Don’t just go to the most convenient (nearest) supermarket. Find the nearest, cheapest, (or least expensive) store. Analyze the situation. It may pay to go to the further less expensive store.

Tip #11 - LIST IT: Make a list before you go shopping. Try to keep to the list.
