I can’t believe it, four weeks in the bag! I was a bit overly ambitious with last week’s Weekly Challenge. I had been planning to go through all the clutter in the rooms in my apartment to decide what to keep and what to either throw out or donate. All I made it through was one lousy half of one room. Life just got in the way. But all is not lost, because I set the gears into motion and am itching to go through the rest! I’m going to stretch this Weekly Challenge into a Monthly Challenge and plan to finish the apartment by the end of the month. I figured out my schedule for the next few weeks and set blocks of time to get work done, such as this upcoming July 4th. I know that Jesse and I will both be home, so we’ll take a few hours to make it through and work on de-cluttering the junk in another room. After all, these challenges aren’t supposed to last for an isolated week at a time. They’re really supposed to become lifetime habits.
We had some really great postings this past week, including two of my favorite cheesy recipes from Chef Chumley. That makes eight recipes that we’ve posted in the past four weeks, and not a bad one in the bunch. They’re all yummy and easy! And of course, I hope you enjoy the serving of comics too!
We’ve finished our month of Savings. I feel richer already! (Yeah, right! =0P) But at least I’m paying attention to some savings tips and habits that I logically knew I should do, but never really paid heed to. Now I do.
Tomorrow we’ll reveal this month’s category for our tips feature. Here’s a hint: We were going to do this topic the first month but decided to push it off to month number two.
In case you missed it, here were some of our top posts of the past week. (You can either click on them, or scroll down and review all of our past posts.)
